Candidate Statement

I’ve been honored to serve as a Rancho Water Director since 2017, including two terms as Board President. My BS in Business Management (magna cum laude) is from Pepperdine University, and my professional leadership experience spans industries including water utilities.

Temecula’s Wine Country has been my home for 22 years. I’m passionate about delivering prudent stewardship of our financial and natural resources. That means addressing current challenges and strategically developing and executing long-term solutions as well. I’m a strong advocate for clean, affordable water as Rancho Water pursues and secures grant funding for groundwater replenishment, storage, conveyance, and infrastructure projects.

Too often, our priorities are NOT considered as policymakers craft legislation and regulations that impact us. In addition to my work at Rancho Water, I serve as Vice President of the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA), the largest statewide coalition of public water agencies in the country. I’m also on the Board of Southern California Water Coalition, comprised of leaders from the water industry, city government, and businesses impacted by water policy. We are sending a unified message to Sacramento and DC.
